Overview
Sporttrade is available on the web and can be accessed from a desktop device (Mac or Windows) or a mobile browser.
If you access Sporttrade Web from a mobile browser, you must install Xpoint Verify to confirm your physical location. Location verification is required by state regulators and must remain active while trading.
Follow the steps below to install and set up Xpoint Verify.
Step 1: Access Sporttrade Web
Visit platform.getsporttrade.com from your desktop or mobile browser.
For best performance, use Chrome or Safari.
When accessing the platform for the first time, you will be prompted to download Xpoint Verify.
Step 2: Download Xpoint Verify
Follow the on-screen instructions based on your device:
macOS: Download a

Download the file and follow your system prompts to complete the installation.
Step 3: Install Xpoint Verify
macOS
Open the downloaded
.pkgfileSelect Continue, then Install
Authorize using Touch ID or your system password
Windows

Xpoint Verify will request the required permissions automatically
Step 4: Enable Location Permissions
macOS
Open System Settings
Select Privacy and Security
Select Location Services
Turn Location Services ON

Enable Xpoint Verify
If the app is not listed, confirm it is installed and open
You may need to unlock settings using your Mac password

Open Settings
Select Privacy and Security

Enable Allow desktop apps to access your location
Xpoint Verify is a desktop application and requires this setting to be enabled.
Step 5: Using a Mobile Browser
If you are accessing Sporttrade Web from a mobile browser:
Download Xpoint Verify from the App Store or Google Play
Open the app and grant location permissions when prompted
Keep Xpoint Verify running in the background while using Sporttrade Web
Step 6: Keep Xpoint Verify Running
After installation:
Open Xpoint Verify and keep it running while trading
If Xpoint Verify is not active, your location cannot be verified and trades cannot be placed
Troubleshooting Common Errors
Error 4004 – Missing Location Permissions
Occurs when location access is not enabled.

Open Location Services
Enable permissions for Xpoint Verify
Windows
Open Settings
Select Privacy and Security
Select Location
Turn Location services ON
Enable Allow desktop apps to access your location
Error 4000 – Inaccurate Location
Indicates a weak or unstable location signal.
Recommended actions:
Move closer to a window
Use a strong Wi-Fi or wired internet connection
Disable VPNs or proxy services
Avoid mobile hotspots
Restart Xpoint Verify and your browser
Unable to Verify Location on Windows
If verification fails on Windows:
Confirm Xpoint Verify is running before opening Sporttrade Web
Right-click Xpoint Verify and select Run as administrator
Check firewall or antivirus software for restrictions
Corporate or work devices may block location services
XPoint Verify Does Not Launch Automatically on Windows
If Xpoint Verify does not open automatically:
Open Xpoint Verify manually
Keep it running in the background
Refresh platform.getsporttrade.com
If the issue continues:
Uninstall Xpoint Verify
Restart your computer
Reinstall from the download prompt on Sporttrade Web
Do I Need to Do This Every Time?
No. Once installed and permissions are granted:
Xpoint Verify will launch automatically when your device starts
Location verification runs in the background while trading on Sporttrade Web
Final Tips
Do not uninstall Xpoint Verify. It is required to trade on Sporttrade Web
VPNs, remote desktop tools, and network masking software may interfere with verification
Work or corporate devices may restrict location access
Keep your operating system and browser up to date for the best performance
