Overview
Sporttrade is now available on the web, accessible from your desktop (Mac or PC) or mobile browser.
If accessing via a mobile browser, you’ll need to download the Xpoint Verify app to confirm your physical location, as required by state regulators.
Follow the steps below to install and set up Xpoint Verify to start trading on Sporttrade Web.
Step 1: Download Xpoint Verify
Access Sporttrade Web
Visit platform.getsporttrade.com on your desktop or mobile browser.
We recommend using Chrome or Safari for best performance.
Download Prompt
When accessing the platform for the first time, a pop-up will appear with instructions to download Xpoint Verify.
Follow On-Screen Instructions
Depending on your operating system:
macOS: You’ll receive a
.pkgfileWindows: You’ll receive a
.exefile
Download and install the file provided, then follow your system prompts to complete installation.
Step 2: Install Xpoint Verify
For Mac Users
Open the downloaded
.pkgfile.Click Continue, then Install.
Authorize with Touch ID or your system password.
For Windows Users
Open the downloaded
.exefile.Follow the on-screen installation prompts.
Xpoint Verify will automatically receive the required location permissions.
Step 3: Enable Location Permissions (macOS Only)
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
Ensure Location Services is ON.
Scroll to Xpoint Verify and toggle it ON.
If the app is not listed, make sure it’s installed and open. You may need to unlock settings using your Mac password.
Step 4: Using a Mobile Browser
If you’re accessing Sporttrade Web via a mobile browser:
Download the Xpoint Verify app from the App Store or Google Play.
Open the app and grant location permissions when prompted.
Keep Xpoint Verify running in the background while using Sporttrade Web.
Step 5: Keep Xpoint Verify Running
After installation:
Open the Xpoint Verify app and keep it active while trading.
If Xpoint isn’t running, your location cannot be verified, and trades cannot be placed.
Troubleshooting Common Errors
Error 4004 – Missing Location Permissions
Occurs when macOS location access is not granted.
Fix: Open Location Services and enable permissions for Xpoint Verify.
Error 4000 – Inaccurate Location
Indicates a weak GPS or network signal.
Try:
Move closer to a window.
Use a stronger Wi-Fi or wired internet connection.
Ensure no VPN or location-masking software is running.
Do I Need to Do This Every Time?
No. Once installed and permissions are granted:
Xpoint Verify will auto-launch when you start your device.
You’ll remain verified in the background while trading on Sporttrade Web.

Do not uninstall Xpoint Verify — it’s required to trade on Sporttrade Web.
