Overview
Xpoint Verify is required to confirm your physical location when accessing Sporttrade through the web app.
If your location cannot be verified, trading on Sporttrade Web will be unavailable.
This article outlines common Xpoint Verify issues on macOS and Windows, including known error codes and recommended troubleshooting steps.
Using Xpoint Verify on the Web App
When accessing Sporttrade through the web app, Xpoint Verify runs locally on your device to confirm your physical location.
In some cases, location verification may fail without displaying a specific error code. You may instead see a general message such as “Unable to verify location” or be repeatedly prompted to re-check your location.
If this happens, follow the troubleshooting steps below, even if no Xpoint error code is shown.
Before You Begin
Confirm the following before troubleshooting:
• You are physically located in a Sporttrade-supported state
• Xpoint Verify is installed on your device
• Xpoint Verify is open and running while using Sporttrade Web
• No VPNs, proxies, or remote desktop software are enabled
• You have a stable internet connection
