Password AutoFill

Password AutoFill simplifies the login and account creation process, making it easier to save and automatically fill in your credentials for apps like Sporttrade. Follow the steps below to enable Password AutoFill for both iOS and Android devices.

 

Enabling Password AutoFill for iOS (Apple)

1. Open Settings

   • Go to your iPhone’s Settings app.

2. Access Passwords

   • Scroll down and select the Passwords menu.

3. Turn On iCloud Keychain

   • Under the "Password Options" tab, ensure that iCloud Password and Keychain is selected and the AutoFill Passwords toggle is turned on.
   • Note: If you use an external password manager (e.g., 1Password or LastPass), you can skip this step.

4. Go to the Sporttrade App

   • Open the Sporttrade app.

5. Tap the Username Field

   • On the login screen, tap the username field. The word "Passwords" should appear above the keyboard.

6. Add New Password

   • Tap Passwords and then Add New Password. Enter your username and password for your Sporttrade account, then tap Done.

7. Use AutoFill

   • Tap the username field again on the sign-in screen, and a suggestion for auto-filling your password should appear. Tap it, and your credentials will be filled out automatically. You’ll only need to tap the suggestion to log in from now on.

Enabling Password AutoFill for Android (Available in NJ, AZ, and VA)

1. Open Settings

   • Go to your Android device’s Settings app.

2. Select System or General Management

   • Depending on your device, look for System or General Management, then select Language & Input.

3. Select AutoFill Service

   • Tap on AutoFill Service or AutoFill.

4. Choose AutoFill Provider

   • Select Google or any third-party password manager you use.

5. Go to the Sporttrade App

   • Open the Sporttrade app.

6. Tap the Username Field

   • On the login screen, tap the username field. A prompt will appear with your saved login credentials from your password manager.

7. Use AutoFill

   • Select your Sporttrade credentials from the prompt, and your username and password will be automatically filled.

By enabling Password AutoFill on your iOS or Android device, you can streamline the login process, ensuring quick and secure access to your Sporttrade account with just a tap.
