If you believe your Sporttrade account has been compromised or shows signs of unauthorized or fraudulent activity, contact Sporttrade Support immediately.
Sporttrade takes data privacy and account security seriously and uses modern encryption technologies and industry-standard security practices to help protect customer information and accounts.
What Sporttrade Will Never Ask For
Sporttrade will never contact you to request:
• Your password
• A one-time verification or authentication code
• Sensitive account credentials
If you receive a message or request asking for this information, do not respond and contact Sporttrade Support right away.
Protecting Your Sporttrade Account
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
We strongly recommend enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to add an extra layer of protection to your account.
When MFA is enabled, logging in requires a unique 6-digit code sent via SMS to your verified mobile phone number. This helps prevent unauthorized access even if your password is compromised.
To enable Multi-Factor Authentication:
• Open the Sporttrade app
• Go to Account
• Select Strong Authentication
• Enable Multi-Factor Authentication
• Confirm your mobile phone number
• Select Text me the code
• Enter the code sent to your device
Once completed, MFA will be active on your account.
Email Notifications for Login Activity
You can also enable email notifications to be alerted when your account is accessed.
These notifications help you quickly identify unfamiliar login activity.
To enable login notifications:
• Open the Sporttrade app
• Go to Account
• Select Strong Authentication
• Enable Email Notification on Login
Using Face ID or Touch ID (iOS)
On supported iOS devices, you may use Face ID or Touch ID to autofill your login credentials for convenience.
Please note:
For regulatory and security reasons, Sporttrade cannot automatically log you into your account using biometric authentication alone.
Banking and Financial Security
Sporttrade partners with trusted third-party payment providers to securely process deposits and withdrawals.
When using Online Banking (Trustly), PayPal, Venmo, or Push Cash:
• Sporttrade does not store your bank login credentials
• Sporttrade does not store debit or credit card numbers
• Payment details are handled directly by the payment provider
• Transactions are encrypted and processed using industry-standard security controls
These providers are used solely to facilitate secure fund transfers between your financial account and your Sporttrade account.
