What does self-exclusion mean?
Sporttrade provides users with the option to self-exclude from our product. By enrolling in a state-specific self-exclusion program, users can ensure that they will not be able to access other internet gaming and sports sites regulated by their state's Department of Gaming. New Jersey residents, more information regarding self-exclusion can be found at the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Additionally, Colorado residents can find information on self-exclusion at the Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado.Iowa residents can find information at the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission
How do I self-exclude via Sporttrade?
Any Sporttrade user can self-exclude from within the app by going to Account > Patron Protection Center > Self Exclusion.
How long can I self-exclude?
New Jersey:
You can self-exclude for 1 year or 5 years* and must verify your identity during the exclusion process.
Colorado:
You can self-exclude for a period of 3, 5,10 years, or lifetime exclusion and you must verify your identity during the exclusion process.
Iowa:
You can self-exclude yourself for 5 years or a lifetime.
During the self-exclusion period:
- You cannot log into your Sporttrade account
- You cannot make any deposits
- You cannot make any sports wagers
- You will not be sent any direct marketing from Sporttrade
To request a withdrawal during a self-exclusion period, please contact the Sporttrade customer support team at support@getsporttade.com.
*For NJ residents there is no lifetime ban for Internet gaming self-exclusion via the online form. A person remains on the self-exclusion list until such time as they appear in person at one of the two Division of Gaming Enforcement offices to terminate their self-exclusion period. To choose a lifetime self-exclusion period, you must appear in person at one of the two Division of Gaming Enforcement offices or at one of the New Jersey Racetracks.
