The ability to self exclude is part of our responsible gaming commitment at Sporttrade.
Our goal is to create a healthy environment for our customers to engage in recreational gaming. We want to ensure that all of our customers are using our service responsibly and are aware of the resources available to them to get help if they need it. On our end, we are taking user safety a step further by trying to identify problem gaming behavior before it escalates.
What does self exclusion mean?
Sporttrade provides users with the option to self-exclude from our product. By enrolling in a state-specific self-exclusion program, users can ensure that they will not be able to access other internet gaming and sports sites regulated by their state's Department of Gaming. For New Jersey residents, more information regarding self-exclusion can be found at nj.gov/oag/ge/selfexclusion.html. Additionally, Colorado residents can find information on self-exclusion at problemgamblingcoalitioncolorado.org/self-exclusion.
How do I self exclude via Sporttrade?
Any Sporttrade user can self-exclude from within the app by going to Account > Patron Protection Center > Self Exclusion.
New Jersey:
You can self-exclude for 1 year or 5 years* and must verify your identity during the exclusion process.
Colorado:
You can self-exclude for a period of 3, 5,10 years, or lifetime exclusion and you must verify your identity during the exclusion process.
During the self-exclusion period:
- You cannot log into your Sporttrade account
- You cannot make any deposits
- You cannot make any sports wagers
- You will not be sent any direct marketing from Sporttrade
To request a withdrawal during a self-exclusion period, please contact the Sporttrade customer support team at support@getsporttade.com.
*There is no lifetime ban for Internet gaming self-exclusion via the online form. A person remains on the self-exclusion list until such time as they appear in person at one of the two Division of Gaming Enforcement offices to terminate their self-exclusion period. To choose a lifetime self-exclusion period, you must appear in person at one of the two Division of Gaming Enforcement offices or at one of the New Jersey Racetracks.
