Bet types supported

Sporttrade currently supports the following types of wagers with more on the way.

To Win or Money lines

A bet where the user picks the outright winner of an event. Includes run lines and puck lines.

For example, you bet on the Philadelphia Eagles to defeat the Baltimore Ravens.

To win: The Philadelphia Eagles must win the game.

Spread bets

A bet where a user picks between handicapped participants with the outcome of the bet determined by the accuracy of the wager.

For example, you bet Philadelphia Eagles +4.5 vs Baltimore Ravens -4.5.

To win: The Philadelphia Eagles must win the game, or lose by less than 4.5 points.

Total points

A bet where the user bets on the total cumulative points teams produce in a contest.

For example, you bet Over 57.5 points on the Philadelphia Eagles vs Baltimore Ravens game.

To win: The Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens must combine for 58 total points or more.

Futures

Futures bets allow wagers on things that will take longer to determine the result. As is their name, futures bets are bets on something that will happen in the longer-term future.
