Types of outcomes

On Sporttrade, you can place bets on several types of outcomes. These outcomes settle at $100 if they win and $0 if they lose.

Winner (Moneyline)

Trading on a Winner outcome (also known as the moneyline) is a bet on the outright winner of a contest.

Example: You buy the Maple Leafs to win against the Red Wings.

• Settles at $100 if the Maple Leafs win

• Settles at $0 if the Maple Leafs lose

Total Points (Over/Under)

Trading on a Total Points outcome (also known as over/under) is a bet on whether the combined score of both teams will be over or under a listed number.

Example: You buy Over 52.5 in the Chiefs vs. Packers game.

• Settles at $100 if the teams combine for more than 52.5 points

• Settles at $0 if they combine for fewer than 52.5 points

Point Spread

The Point Spread accounts for the expected margin of victory between two teams.

• Favorites are listed with a minus (–) spread

• Underdogs are listed with a plus (+) spread

Buying the favorite means the team must win by more than the spread.
Buying the underdog means the team must lose by less than the spread or win outright.

Example: You buy the Eagles +7.5 vs. the Cowboys.

• Settles at $100 if the Eagles lose by fewer than 7.5 points or win

• Settles at $0 if the Eagles lose by more than 7.5 points

Player Props and Other Markets

Sporttrade may also offer additional markets, such as player props and other specialty outcomes, depending on the sport and event.

Examples may include:

• Player performance outcomes (yards, points, goals, etc.)

• Team-based props
