Sporttrade offers flexibility when placing orders, allowing you to trade in either dollars or shares. This guide will help you understand how to switch between the two methods when making trades.
Placing Orders in Dollars
When trading in dollars, you specify the amount of money you want to trade, and Sporttrade will execute the order based on the best available price.
To buy or sell in dollars:

Tap Buy or Sell
- On any outcome, tap the Buy or Sell button.

Switch to Dollars
- In the order window, tap on Switch to buy/sell in dollars.

Enter Dollar Amount
- Enter the dollar amount you wish to trade.
Placing Orders in Shares
When trading in shares, you specify the number of shares (whole or fractional) to buy or sell, and your order will be filled at the best available price based on market conditions.
To buy or sell in shares:

Tap Buy or Sell
- On any outcome, tap the Buy or Sell button.

Switch to Shares
- In the order window, tap on Switch to buy/sell in shares.

Enter Number of Shares
- Enter the number of shares you want to trade.
By switching between dollars and shares, Sporttrade gives you greater control over how you manage your trades.
*Exchange wagering is not yet available in Iowa and Virginia.
