Placing Orders

Buying Shares

To buy shares on an outcome:

1. Find a contest and select the outcome you want to trade.

2. Tap Buy.

   • The Buy price reflects the Offer, or the price a seller is willing to accept.

3. Choose your order type:

   • Market Buy (default), or

   • Limit Buy to set your own price.

4. Choose how you want to trade:

   • Dollars (default), or

   • Shares.

5. Enter your amount.

   • You’ll see a preview of the order cost and potential profit.

6. Tap Place Order and review the confirmation screen.

Selling Shares

To sell shares from an existing position:

1. Find the contest and outcome you want to sell, or open it from your Portfolio.

2. Tap Sell.

   • The Sell price reflects the Bid, or the price a buyer is willing to pay.

3. Choose your order type:

   • Market Sell (default), or

   • Limit Sell to set a price.

4. Choose Dollars or Shares.

5. Enter your amount.

   • You’ll see a preview of the proceeds and potential profit.

6. Tap Place Order and review the confirmation screen.

Note: Selling shares you don’t already own (shorting) is available only when Percent Odds mode is enabled on iOS.

Viewing Your Orders

After placing an order, you can track it in Orders & Trades:

1. Go to the Portfolio tab.

2. Tap Orders & Trades.

   • Filled orders appear under Trades.

   • Unfilled orders appear under Open Orders.
