There are no fees involved with maintaining an account with Sporttrade, so please reconsider before electing to close your account.
If you would still like to request that Sporttrade close your account, you may do so by selecting one of the following procedures while adhering to the requirements for closure:
Requirements for closing your account
In order for Sporttrade to successfully close your account, your account must first satisfy the following criteria:
No active positions or open orders
Any current open orders must be canceled. Any active positions must be closed, or held to settlement where it is effectively closed.
No account balance
All available funds must be withdrawn.
Please note: The above criteria must be met when initiating a Close account request. If your account shows any active positions, open orders, or an account balance, the Sporttrade team will not be able to close your account. In the event your Close account request may not be completed, a Sporttrade representative will reach out to you on how to further proceed.
Closing your account in the Sporttrade app
While logged into your account:
- Navigate to the Account tab
- Select Personal Information
- Under Account Management, select Close your account
- Follow the steps to initiate your Account closure request
Closing your account with a Customer Support Associate
If you'd like assistance with closing your account, contact customer support and a Sporttrade representative will walk you through the procedure.
