Notifications
Sporttrade sends out a variety of notifications via email, push, and SMS. Some notifications are required and cannot be turned off.
Required notifications
Per regulatory requirements, there are certain email notifications we must send to any user with an active Sporttrade account. These include:
- Emails
- Deposits alerts
- Withdrawal alerts
- Personal information updates
- Changes to terms & conditions and privacy policy
- MFA activation and deactivation
- Patron protection: anytime you change deposit limits, spending limits, time limits, or set a cool-off or self-exclusion periods
- SMS
- Confirmation of phone number
Optional notifications
You can choose to opt in or out of the following notifications.
- Email notifications
- Every time you log in (this is activated by default)
- Order status changes (when orders are received, filled, and canceled)
- Push notifications
- Order status changes (when orders are received, filled, and canceled)
- Events start
- Positions settle
- Limits need to be confirmed
How to manage notification settings
To view or change your notification settings:
- Go to the Account tab
- Under "Account Preferences", tap "Notifications"
- For email notifications:
- Toggle the on/off switch for each type of notification whose settings you would like to change.
- For push notifications:
- First, tap "enable push notifications" and allow Sporttrade to send notifications.
- Toggle the on/off switch for each type of notification whose settings you would like to change.
